Hit x (light attack) and continue the combo until your char punches the target down to the ground, then immediatly fire of a full power energy volley.įPEV will track itts targets if you fire it immediatly after knocking the target around with a basic attack combo. Going full stamina/ki/ki blast in stats will enable you to use vanish often, load up on lots of ki and subsequent ki blast supers/ults and hit hrealyl ♥♥♥♥ hard with them.

The death beam hits like a truck no matter how you try to gimp it and the basic bolts stagger and knock down the opponent after 4-5 hits. Golden form is a no downside + 30% ki blast tranformnation that aso turns basic and charged ki attacks into death bolts and death beams. Basic attacks are for preparijng the target to take a big hit.īuff ki blast, so that once you unleasch a supr or ult, it will hit like a truck. You will melee in any case because you cannot avoid it.īasic attack is good even if you have zero points in it and have a qq bang debuffing it by 50 points. It's personal preference, but if you can, respect it to 0 health and see the difference yourself, there isn't much between 41 and 0 for female sj and frieza. This game is not about maxing to one style. Also you lose that extra health in less than a full attack string. it's an extra vanisher guard (or another 3 stam evasion) that you can use (or you could put extra points in basic attacks if its not maxed already). that extra stamina has saved my life a few times. 84 ki or stamina is more useful IMO.It's really difficult for me to justify putting zero points in a character's health when they're already lagging behind everyone else, particularly when there isn't much difference between 8 and 9 stamina bars for all those extra points - ESPECIALLY before you get a good L6 QQ bang that doesn't penalize your health and turn your golden lizard boi or girl power goku into a glass cannon. Originally posted by Moris:The bonus in health for friezas is really negligible (same for female Saiyan), personally I don't like to waste any point in HP. Their racial awoken (golden form) doesn't benefit strike-based frieza race characters that much (they get no damage bonuses) but they get a very powerful unique charged basic ki attack that is as good as a mediocre super attack that requires no ki to use, a huge bonus to ki damage, and a bonus to speed. It's pretty easy to keep a consistent supply of ki and stamina.

In combat situations, I would leverage your mobility, make use of counters, and learn to manage your stamina to avoid damage as much as possible because you won't be able to take much of a hit - but you'll still take hits better than, say, female saiyans and you won't have to piss and moan about how to use SSB Evolution without evaporating your supply of ki. When building a frieza race, I would put 125 points in ki blasts and basic attacks and spread the rest between stamina, ki, and health (42 each ki and stamina and 41 for hit points). Their biggest weakness tends to be lower-than-average health. Normally, you might think close combat is better for strike-users but this makes frieza race characters good at both up-close and long range combat because there are some very powerful ki-based attacks that only work in short range, such as the aforementioned death wave. So the most optimal way to use them and leverage all of their strengths is in-your-face and up-close melee combat coupled with ki skills, such as death beam and death wave. They also have a surprisingly good basic attack damage and (slowly) regenerate stamina when making attacks in the same way all races regenerate ki when attacking. Frieza race is the fastest race in the game, particularly when they're low on health.
